Our co-founder, Serena Huang, mother of two beautiful children, Zelda and Axel, sought to create soft, breathable clothing for her kids to wear, share and passed onto a generation of little ones.

Lūmmi's commitment to comfort and quality extends beyond just creating the softest and most comfortable babywear possible. Along with our boy and girl collections, we also believe in creating clothing that is gender-neutral for all babies. Lummi had begun its first collection featuring unisex, organic cotton onesies, bodysuits, and accessories in black and white tones. It also included an additional coloured print to hint an upcoming coloured collection, Lummi in Colour.

All garments are designed in Australia and ethically made in China. Our organic cotton is certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), meaning that harvesting cotton in farms right through to fabric development process has met the international standard where less chemicals and resources are used in the production of our fabrics. Practical details are also at the forefront of our designs, small elements such as 2-way zips, easy snap closures and stretchy fabrics help accommodate growing babies. 

Now, we envisage Lūmmi in Colour to be more than just a brand - it's a reflection of the Australian way of life and its vast landscapes. We believe in taking things slow, enjoying the simple pleasures in life while embracing our natural surroundings. With these in mind, they serve as inspiration for our colourful and neutral designs.
